SketchUV is designed to be easy to use. However, UV mapping in general takes some getting used to. Be sure to take the time to read the User Guide (English) and watch the video tutorials. Apr 23, 2014 UV mapping is best done externally in a dedicated mapping enviroment. Blender ha very powerful mapping tools and it is free. I also recommend Ultimate Unwrap 3D or UV LayOut.
